How we handle your data.

This website is operated by Newrro Tech LLP (LLP ID ACD-9428), a robotics company registered in India, with its office at the Co-Innovation Centre, NMIT, 6429, NITTE Meenakshi College Rd, BSF Campus, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560064, India. In this policy, “Newrro”, “we” and “us” mean Newrro Tech LLP.

This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.newrro.in, why we collect it, who it is shared with and the choices you have. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Newrro is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here.

We collect only what you choose to give us, plus the minimum technical information needed to run the site.

Contact and enquiry forms

The enquiry form on the Contact page, and the versions of it on the Education and product pages, ask for details that depend on the type of enquiry you choose (lab set-up, quotation, industry project or support). Depending on the type, these can include your name, email address, phone number, institution, company or organisation, role, the product and configuration you are interested in, quantity, tier of interest, timeline, what you are building, an order or reference number, a description of an issue, and your message. We also record which page of this site you came from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch. When you submit the form, a reference number is generated and your enquiry is sent by email to our inbox.

The form contains a hidden field that people cannot see. It is used only to filter automated spam and is not linked to you.

Store quote cart and checkout

Products you add to the quote cart on the Store are kept in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us until you submit a quote request. At checkout we ask for your name, phone number, email address, organisation, GST number, delivery address with PIN code and any notes you want to add. When you submit, a reference number is generated, your request is sent by email to our inbox, and a copy is emailed to you.

WhatsApp handoff

After submitting a quote request you can choose to open WhatsApp to message us. This opens WhatsApp with a short pre-filled message containing only your reference number, the number of items and your name. Nothing is sent unless you send that message yourself in WhatsApp. Messages you send through WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (operated by Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy.

Browser storage

Besides the quote cart, the site stores two small preferences in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and whether you have dismissed the on-site mascot. These stay on your device, are not sent to us and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

Analytics and cookies

This site does not currently use analytics, and it does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before we do. The Contact page embeds a Google Map; when it loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive information such as your IP address, under Google's privacy policy.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard request logs, such as your IP address, browser type (user agent) and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

We use the personal data you give us to:

• respond to your enquiry and follow up on it;
• prepare quotations for products, labs and projects;
• process and fulfil orders, including delivery;
• issue invoices and meet GST and other tax requirements;
• provide support and handle warranty requests; and
• keep the site secure and prevent spam and misuse.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to marketing lists from a quote or enquiry form.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

• Resend, the third-party email delivery service that sends form submissions to our inbox and sends you a copy of your quote request;
• WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us through WhatsApp;
• service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as hosting, email and delivery partners, only as needed to provide their service; and
• government or regulatory authorities, where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on them to protect it in line with applicable law.

We keep enquiry and quotation emails, and order and invoicing records, for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and as required by law, including tax and accounting law. When data is no longer needed, we delete it. Data stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
• have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated;
• have your personal data erased, where it is no longer needed and we are not required by law to keep it;
• withdraw consent you have given, which does not affect processing already carried out;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
• have a grievance about our handling of your data addressed.

If you are not satisfied with our response to a grievance, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To access, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw consent, email info@newrro.in with the subject “Data request”. Please include:

• your name and the email address or phone number you used;
• any reference number you received (for example NR-E-2709-0184 or NR-2709-0184); and
• what you would like us to do.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some records, such as invoices, may need to be kept for a period required by law; if so, we will tell you.

This site is intended for institutions, businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from a child without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our inbox and records is limited to the people who need it. We take reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the site starts collecting something new. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
